Jeannette
B. Carson is one of the pioneers of the Black Memorabilia movement in this
country, and in this capacity, in 1984, helped to organize the first Black
Memorabilia show ever held. Realizing the need to provide more information
about the collectible items seen in the shows, Black Ethic Collectibles
magazine was born in 1987. |

As
a further means of bringing collectors of Black Memorabilia together, Ms.
Carson also founded the National Black Memorabilia Collectors Association
and the Black Collectors Hall of Fame. Since she is rated among the
experts in this field, she travels nationwide lecturing on the subject
and could possibly be available to share her knowledge and a mini exhibit
of memorabilia with you. |

the presevation of oral, wtitten and visual artifacts by and about people
